Normally we think of the sun as being that big, hot ball of light 93 million miles away. But actually, the sun’s outer atmosphere extends far beyond its visible surface. Our planet orbits within this tenuous atmosphere, and we see evidence of this when gusts of the solar wind generate the Northern and Southern Lights. In that sense, we definitely live “inside” the sun. But the solar atmosphere doesn’t end at Earth. Auroras have been observed on Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and even distant Neptune. In fact, the outer solar atmosphere, called the “heliosphere,” is thought to extend at least 100 A.U. That’s nearly 10 billion miles. In fact the atmosphere is likely teardrop shaped due to the sun’s motion in space, with the “tail” extending tens to hundreds of billions of miles downwind.

A Teenager is a living Cartoon character !
Anastasiya Shpagina, 19, who is an animated Japanese cartoons fan, takes style inspiration from the cartoons and computer animations that have a huge following in Japan. She has even adopted a Japanese name -- Fukkacumi.
A Ukranian teenager has literally transformed herself into a living cartoon character, complete with miniature waist, coloured hair, and a defined pout.
With her enormous, glassy eyes, purple hair and coquettish pose, this girl could have stepped from the scene of a Japanese anime film.
Shpagina, who measures 5'2", is already reported to have slimmed down to just over six stone in her attempts to resemble a living anime character. She is said to spend 30 minutes to apply her make-up to each one of her eyes.
With over 10,000 fans on Facebook, the teenager also posts videos on YouTube showing how she applies her make-up.
One of such video clips, in which Shpagina is seen revealing how she achieves her 'flower fairy' look, has been watched more than 150,000 times.

Whale learns to blow halo shaped bubble.
A Beluga whale has become a sensation at an aquarium after learning how to blow halo-shaped bubbles. The extraordinary sight was captured on camera by photographer Hiroya Minakuchi at the Shimane aquarium in Japan. He said:"This beluga started making bubble rings when she was seven. And a couple of years ago she developed her technique. Now she blows the water from her mouth to make a current, which is not visible for us underwater. She then blows air from her blow hole into the current and that makes a ring shape."
Eiffel Tower construction :)
Currently, Eiffel Tower is the fifth-tallest structure in France.
The mass of the total structure of the tower is 7300 tonnes.
There are 1660 steps.
For the public it is not possible to get to the summit by means of the stairs, elevators are necessary beyond the second platform.
The top of the tower can increase up to 18 centimetres due to thermal expansion of the metal on the side facing the sun.
The tower also sways to six to seven centimetres due to wind.
Be Smart WITH Antibiotics.
Antibiotics are powerful medicines that should be reserved for situations that demand them, for instance, when the immune system cannot contain a bacterial infection or when a bacterial infection establishes itself in a vital organ like the heart, lungs, or brain.
Antibiotics not only kill harmful bacteria that are making you sick, they also destroy the beneficial flora in your gut, and can promote the development of resistant organisms in your body. There's even evidence that without normal "friendly" bacteria in the digestive tract, our immune system wouldn't function properly, and we would be less resistant to harmful bugs.
To restore the helpful organisms, be sure to take supplemental probiotics while you're on antibiotics. Acidophilus is the general name for dried or liquid cultures of the living lactobacillus bacteria that aid digestion. Always check the expiration date to help ensure that the acidophilus product you choose is still viable. Take one tablespoon of the liquid culture or one to two capsules after meals, unless the label directs otherwise. I recommend taking acidophilus to restore "friendly" cultures even when on antibiotics for just a few days. And I particularly recommend products containing lactobacillus GG or bacillus coagulans 30 (BC-30), two strains proven to survive passage through the strong acid in the stomach.

INTERESTING FACTS ABOUT ASTEROIDS.
1. On January 1, 1801, Giuseppe Piazzi discovered the first asteroid. He named this asteroid CERES, after the Sicilian Goddess of grain. Ceres is also the largest asteroid to have been discovered so far.
2. According astronomers, asteroids are debris left behind by the Big Bang that could not come together to form another planet because of the effect of Jupiter's gravitational pull.
3. Asteroids have been hitting the Earth since millions of years. However, due to the friction with Earth's atmosphere most of the asteroids get burnt. The asteroids that enter the Earth' s atmosphere are called METEORS while the ones that get burnt and appear as shooting stars are called METEORITES.
4. The Chicxulub impact crater created by asteroid is thought to be 65 million years old. It is also thought to be the source of the climate changes that led to the extinction of all of the dinosaurs.
5. Most asteroids are covered in dust. This dust is called REGOLITH. It is result of constant collisions in space.

RIPLEY'S BELIEVE IT OR NOT.
It is strange building in Ontario, Canada. Located on Clifton Hill since 1963 the Canadian Niagaras Odditorium still holds on to the reputation as Niagara's best museum. The building is shaped like the Empire State Building fallen over, with King Kong standing on top of it.
As of 2010, there are over 30 "Ripley's Believe It or Not!" Odditoriums around the world. "Ripley's Believe It or Not!" is a franchise, founded by Robert LeRoy Riply (1890-1949), an American cartoonist, entrepreneur and amateur anthropologist.

Facts about Mimic Octopus.
The Mimic Octopus is able to copy the physical likeness and movement of more than fifteen different species.
This species of octopus is known for its ability to mimic other creatures and this is the reason for its common name.
It grows up to 2 feet in length.
All octopuses have the ability change their color and texture. But the mimic octopus is the first octopus species ever observed to impersonate other animals, for example it was once observed to mimic a sea snake by black and yellow and burying six of its arms in sand and waving the other two in opposite directions.
It not only mimics their physical appearance but also their movements. Also, they change their color more rapidly than other octopuses.
It lives in Indo-west Pacific Ocean. The mimic octopus was officially discovered in 1998, off the coast of Sulawesi.
It commonly mimics the venomous lionfish. While swimming well above the bottom it spreads out all of its arms in a way that they look narrow and long fins of the lionfish. The mimic octopus mostly mimics the local predators in his area.
INTERESTING FACTS ABOUT LIGHTNING.
1. Every year, the Earth experiences an average of 25 million lightning strikes during some 100,000 thunderstorms. That’s more than a hundred lightning bolts per second.
2. Lightning bolts travel at speeds of up to 60,000 miles per second.
3. The temperature of a typical lightning bolt can reach 30,000 °C – that is about 5 times greater than the temperature of the surface of the Sun.
4. The energy contained in a single lightning strike can power a 100 Watt light bulb for 90 days.
5. Trees sometimes can take direct hits from lightning and not get burnt – the electricity passes over their wet surface and goes straight into the ground.

INTERESTING FACTS ABOUT SLEEP.
1. The record for the longest period without sleep is 18 days, 21 hours, 40 minutes during a rocking chair marathon. The record holder reported hallucinations, paranoia, blurred vision, slurred speech and memory and concentration lapses.
2. The “natural alarm clock” which enables some people to wake up more or less when they want to is caused by a burst of the stress hormone adrenocorticotropin.
3. Tiny luminous rays from a digital alarm clock can be enough to disrupt the sleep cycle even if you do not fully wake. The light turns off a “neural switch” in the brain, causing levels of a key sleep chemical to decline within minutes.
4. Ducks at risk of attack by predators are able to balance the need for sleep and survival, keeping one half of the brain awake while the other slips into sleep mode.
5. Daytime naps improve memory! It also helps you remember important facts.
Naps also cut risk of heart disease.
